
Sukkube FKA Charlène Levasseur is a live performer and DJ who explores sound synthesis and musique concrète. Her work involves creating sequences on a modular synthesiser, which she repeats and combines with her recordings, which she samples, seeking a natural cohesion between the sequences and the samples. Her work highlights the fusion of these two material sound worlds and field recordings, producing immersive and emotive live techno performances.
In 2019, she graduated from the Institut Superior des Arts de Toulouse. In 2021, she began performing on modular synthesizers, which led to her debut in Germany and Denmark at renowned electronic music venues such as Ved Siden Af, g.ART.n, Fitzroy, AVA, Acud Macht Neue, Superbooth Festival. In 2024, she made her debut in Austria, where she took part in the
Non Ference exhibition curated by Lain Iwakura, Force Inc. Music Works, Mille Plateaux at the Forum Stadtpark in Graz. In 2024, she joined the IPN collective, where she continues her research, produces events and teaches electronic music.

Committed to using analogue production methods to produce her tracks, her techno doesn't seek to fit into a defined genre, but rather to open up its frontiers by drawing on a multitude of genres.
