After the hypnotic journey of “Turning Point” and her explosive collaboration with Marco Simioni, Sukkube compose five modular tracks.
This album is the result of several years of research, notably involving a reworking of her latest EP, ‘Turning Point’. She has reworked the melodies
to improve them and create a dialogue between them.
Firmly determined to steer clear of computer-based composition. She wrote and composed all the tracks during a week-long studio residency at Microgroove
in Toulouse, with the help of André Louis Jouan (audio director), Masami Komuro (recording engineer) and Éric Anglas (performance coach).
These are recorded and edited clips of a live session at Microgroove studio during the night called "Sound Lab"; this EP and live have been performed at Metronum,
Les Inouïs du Printemps de Bourges, About Blank (Berlin). We did a very limited t-shirt and tote bag with Julia Castel and Arman handcrafted edition in serigraphy
that you can purchase on bandcamp.

They met at Gaswerk for a residency of 1 week, in October 2021. They both started in sound design on modular systems. The "Dark Triggers" EP has been created through 3 big jam sessions where the main patterns were found. During live sessions Sukkube works with a eurorack system and her VCOs are most of the time used without a sequencer and envelopes which results in a huge layer of metallic noises without boundaries, while also utilising a TR-09 for the main rhythm. Sage-S set is full eurorack and he has a powerful sequencer to design an accurate sound and groovy patterns

Neïd is a city built on ancient ruins. Situated from miles and miles underground, the river of Neïd flows around the tower of the rabbit master to throw itself into the black sea of the North West of the city. The ambient temperature of the river diffuses a petroleum jelly textile on its surface that enchants everyone who touches it. The river of Neïd has organisms living in it, it was nourished by the melody of sulfur particles caused by the hydraulic action of the liquid on the rocks

Eccentric soundscapes, cryptic atmospheres, unexpected rhythms - with
the second episode of the Intelliance series, the concept label
Augmented Research once again holds up a mirror to the progressive
present and provides various perspectives on the innovative electronic
club sound of the next generation.
With "Sea And Bunkers", Sukkube proves her virtuoso and versatile
handling of modular sound synthesis. The rapid, loopy beat, accompanied
by a serious and simultaneously playful melody and hissing atmospheres,
generates a mysterious, fresh mood. Influences from different eras
form an interesting symbiosis of futuristic, uplifting techno and
nuances of classic styles.

Sukkube released a remix for ABSTRS. Gothenburg based ABSTRS is born in San Diego, California and raised in Stockholm, Sweden. His style can be described as raw fast paced techno, even psychedelic and hypnotic at times, almost like a soundtrack to the industrial areas of his hometown. ABSTRS is somewhat of a local hero in the underground scene of Gothenburg, co-founding the Tekla collective, plus hosting numerous raves and parties in abandoned buildings, in and around the city with his Obalans and Sequence projects.

Sukkube feat. Сељак released a remix for Kagami Smile, is an artist from an industrial city a few hours from Chicago. He takes influence from shoegaze records as well as minimal techno labels such as Chain Reaction and Modern Love. His most recent output of music focuses on minimal meditative synthworks and strong nods to Japanese video game soundtracks as well as the concept of liminal spaces. His music reflects a series of recurring dreams had since 2017, that of a missed moment with a stranger.
